Working alongside environmental activists who are campaigning to save Rimrose Valley Country Park from development. I hosted an action research project to explore how creative nature connection can be a tool to nourish ourselves, our community and the environment.
Together we explored the industrial past of the space, our current relationship to it and our future hopes for the multi-species communities it supports.
To acknowledge the emotional labour that goes into caring for such a space, we explored embodied approaches for connection - deep listening, close looking, textural explorations, foraging and forest bathing.
