Parque Del Art Sullivan, Mexico City

In a process of decolonising the city, we spent two months mapping and considering the ecological impact of colonisation upon Mexico City. We met weekly to walk and observe, tracing routes from the Jamaica Flower Market, to the floating farms (Chinampas) of Xochimilco.
Together, we created a nature healing ritual at the Parque Del Arte Sullivan, a park with a legacy of hosting artists who were excluded from gallery spaces.
We collected found materials, including cut grass and seeds and charged them under the full moon (an old english pagan tradition), before giving our offering to the land.
