Material Makes is an exploration of materials as a connection to place. Asking how local ecologies can become embedded in the practice of making, facilitating a new way of knowing.
Conceived during my DYCP development and now integrated into several projects, including a monthly biomaterials club hosted at Islington Mill Salford, with artist Freddy Mendoza.
Material developments include; bio inks, bio plastics, pigments, charcoals, tinctures and natural dyes.
