The Harris Museum & Art Gallery, Preston, UK
2017
I was commissioned by the Harris Museum & Art Gallery to co-produce an artwork in response to the painting, the Eleventh Hour by Percy Day. In collaboration with children and families living on a military barracks in the North West, I designed a series of explorative making workshops including drama, costumes, photography and drawing - we also considered the themes of the work, including communication whilst seperated from loved ones and how to care for / be kind to others.
The group then collectively chose to create a zine, this was printed and placed in the Harris Museum, alongside the painting, so that other children who visited could pick it up and enjoy it with their families.
