A creative place making project to explore the Sankey Photography Archive in a contemporary context, I worked with local young people to explore their relationship to sites of special ecological interest in their local area. We used creative methodologies of photography, digital collage, field recording, walking, 3D scanning, film making and sculpture building.
Over the course of 2 months we took field trips to natural sites to explore our connection with the more-than-human. We considered the realtionship between industry and nature, considered concepts such as ‘peace’ and ‘progress’ and presented our findings in the Field Notes exhibition held at Cookes Studios during August - September 2024.
